About the Music


Have you ever seen a tortoise dance the can-can or an elephant attempt a nimble waltz? How about violins masquerading as cheeky, pecking hens or kangaroos leaping across pianos? No? Well, you can find them all and more in Saint-Saëns’s fun-filled The Carnival of the Animals.

Get creative making your own animal masks before the interactive adventure begins with conductor Tess Jackson and presenter Jessie Maryon Davies introducing your young musician to the awesome sounds of a live orchestra.
