2. What is this policy for?

2.1 It tells you what to expect when we collect your personal information. Please only use our service if you are completely happy with this policy.

2.2 Generally, the policy covers only information provided to us. If you give personal information to other people, such as payment providers or other websites, please check their privacy policies.

3.1 Yes. Please check whenever you visit our website. We will assume you agree to the new version of the policy if you use the site after its effective date.

4. What do we collect?

4.1 Where we sell tickets for our events directly, this is through our online Box Office which is managed using Ticketsource. As part of your order we may collect your name, email address, address and telephone number. All orders made through the Ticketsource platform will be processed by their systems. Please note we don’t have access to or hold any information relating to your payment details. If during the booking process you consent to being contacted by us, we may add you to our email newsletter so that we can send you information about future performances and ways to support our work. 

4.2 When you sign up to our email newsletter, your details will be held by MailChimp. MailChimp’s servers are based in the USA, but the company is signed up to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. You can unsubscribe from our email newsletter at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of any email. 

4.3 When you make a donation to Chromatica Orchestra, your details will be held by Donorfy, and processed through Stripe. Both companies are signed up to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. Your details will also be held by the Chromatica Orchestra development team so that we can fulfill our contract with you. However, you have the right to opt out of communication and ask to have your details deleted at any time.

4.4 Ticketsource, MailChimp and Donorfy are third party suppliers who have their own terms and conditions and data protection policies.
The information we collect

4.5 We may collect, store and use the following types of personal data:

  • Information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website, such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views. This information does not identify any individual user.
  • Details of any transactions you have made when booking tickets or making a purchase through our website.
  • Information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter, online channels, or other services we offer.
  • Any other information that you choose to send to us.

5. How we use your data
5.1 We use your data to fulfil orders or services you’ve requested, for analytical purposes, and always in accordance with relevant data laws. These uses include:

  • To deal with enquiries and requests.
